The National eLearning Center holds the international conference on "eLearning for Human Capability Development" from 24-27 January 2022 in Riyadh, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National eLearning Center, Dr. Hamad bin Mohammad Al Al-Sheikh. Local and global experts are participating in the conference that foreseeing the future of eLearning in the Kingdom and its impact on human capability development to build globally competitive citizens.
The conference aims at utilizing eLearning in human capability development, discussing, and addressing the key challenges related to human capability development and eLearning opportunities, upskilling, reskilling and lifelong learning by presenting the experience of UNESCO, the International Labor Organization (ILO), the European Union, India, and other countries.
It also highlights the most prominent strategies of eLearning platforms and the experience of edX, Coursera and FutureLearn platforms in enhancing skills and meeting future requirements.
The conference addresses the flexible pathways and micro-credentials and their role in enhancing skills and achieving the alignment between the learning outcomes and labor market needs through eLearning, as a key accelerator and enabler in human capability development that aims to meet future requirements.
A series of workshops to be conducted during the conference by national and international experts, and practitioners in the field.
