The National eLearning Center signs a memorandum of understanding with the University of Hafr Al-Batin

NeLC signed a memorandum of understanding with the University of Hafr Al-Batin, to develop cooperation between the two parties in the field of education, training, and professional development, in the presence of His Excellency the Director General of the Center, Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad. Al-Walidi, and His Excellency the President of the University, Dr. Khalid bin Bani Al-Harbi. The cooperation unifies the efforts to enhance human capabilities by enabling e-learning and training for university employees.

The agreement includes enabling the university to obtain e-learning licenses from the NeLC in accordance with its standards, and empowering e-learning and training practitioners at the university through professional certificates, by holding introductory workshops and supporting them in building training plan and linking with accredited bodies that provide it as training. In addition, exploring the possibility of linking the FutureX digital education and training system to the university’s e-learning platform, with the aim of exchanging content and data. Also, assisting in providing support from the center to build flexible learning pathways that serve the needs of the university in partnership with content providers from local and international entities, and other relevant services.

The agreement also includes cooperation in studies, research, the National eLearning Index, and related other work, in addition to the Center's participation in educational materials to be added to the National Program for Open Educational Content to enhance and enrich reliable content and raise the community awareness, and other public initiatives and technical integration between the two parties.
