As part of its ongoing efforts to support training in the private sector, the National eLearning Center (NeLC) has announced the unification of licensing procedures for eLearning and training programs. This will be implemented in coordination with the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC).
Training providers will obtain program licenses directly from TVTC after fulfilling the technical integration requirements with NeLC’s systems through the National eLearning Platform (FutureX). The new framework will take effect in May 2026 and is intended to simplify licensing processes and enhance the efficiency of training within the private sector.
This initiative aligns with NeLC’s broader mandate to enable and empower the private sector in delivering high-quality eLearning by advancing the eLearning ecosystem, streamlining regulatory processes, and ensuring adherence to national standards, ultimately strengthening compliance across the sector.
NeLC will continue to oversee digital learning practices and monitor compliance with established regulations and standards to ensure the effective delivery of eLearning and training programs. These efforts support continuous improvement, contribute to the development of human capital, and enhance the overall efficiency of the eLearning and training ecosystem in the Kingdom. The initiative also underscores NeLC’s commitment to advancing the regulatory environment and fostering greater integration among key stakeholders.
