The National eLearning Center (NeLC) has launched the new edition of the National Digital Learning Indicator 2025–2026, marking a significant transformation in measuring the quality of digital learning across government institutions in the Kingdom. The new edition adopts real-time data measurement and direct technical integration, enabling more accurate and dynamic performance assessment.
The Indicator aims to measure the quality of digital learning, strengthen data-driven governance, support informed decision-making, and promote continuous improvement. This contributes to enhancing the efficiency of the national digital learning ecosystem.
The Indicator targets government institutions in the higher education and training sectors and evaluates their performance through four key indicators: the utilization of shared digital educational resources, integration within Multiversity initiative, the quality of data-driven digital learning, and flexible learning models based on micro-credentials.
Performance indicators are calculated automatically through direct technical integration with institutions’ systems, ensuring data accuracy, timeliness, and a true reflection of actual performance, without the need for registration or document submission.
NeLC emphasized that the new edition represents a transformative leap in the development of digital learning in the Kingdom and contributes to building a more efficient, transparent, and sustainable ecosystem that supports continuous improvement and enhances the quality of learning and training outcomes.
