In the presence of the Director-General of the National eLearning Center Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammad Alwalidi and the Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Investment for Investment Development, Mr. Faisal bin Essam Hamza, the Center signs a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Investment for enhancing cooperation between the two parties in eLearning to develop human capabilities, and support innovation in eLearning investments in the Kingdom.
This memorandum aims to encourage foreign companies in the eLearning to invest and transfer their regional offices to the Kingdom, and to support the indicative lists of service providers, which were approved by the Center with the participation of a group of leading international institutions, which contributes to a significant leap in the quality of services.
In addition, the memorandum aims to address the challenges of local and foreign investors in eLearning and educational technologies, enhance cooperation in proposing investment opportunities which helps new investors identify opportunities and direct their investments, and unify the eLearning licensing process for foreign investors.
This partnership comes in line with the Center's ambitious goals and directions aimed at supporting international investments in eLearning as it will propose solutions to empower external institutions investments in eLearning, where education and investment are key elements of sustainable development in the Kingdom’s vision 2030.
