The National eLearning Center conducted a workshop for representatives of more than 30 partner institutions in open educational resources, entitled "Sustainability of institutions in enriching open educational resources." This comes as one of the activities of the Open Education Week (OEweek), to showcase the latest achievements and innovations in open education and maximize their impact.
The workshop addressed several related topics in the field of open education by identifying the stakeholders, understanding the needs of the institutions, and listing the challenges they face in publishing open educational resources, to recommend innovative solutions that keep pace with the developments of this education mode in a way that guarantees its enrichment and provision of lifelong learning for all.
The OERx platform, is one of the enablers of the National Program for Open Educational Content by granting and issuing the necessary open licenses that allow institutions and beneficiaries to publish, share, and reuse content for free in accordance with the digital content quality standards, as the platform provides +12,000 open educational resources for all.
