The National eLearning Center (NeLC) has signed a cooperation agreement with the National Technology Development Program (NTDP) on Thursday, 4th of September 2025 in Riyadh, aiming to support innovation and empower participants in the "AI SandboX in Digital Learning” initiative to access the program's opportunities, along with knowledge support, and consultation.
NeLC was represented by the Director General, Dr. Abdullah Al-Waleedi, while NTDP was represented by the CEO of the Program Mr. Ibrahim Niaz.
The Agreement aims to support and develop the information technology sector and emerging technologies by enabling institutions to leverage NTDP’s products and services, in addition to enhancing cooperation between the two parties in eLearning technical innovation. This contributes to achieving the strategic goals of both parties. This comes as part of NeLC’s efforts to govern eLearning and training and regulate its practices in the Kingdom, enhance integration with various sectors and national entities, and support the acceleration of digital transformation in eLearning sector.
It is worth mentioning that "AI SandboX" has empowered more than (3,000) participants and (35) projects, aiming to provide opportunities for testing, experimentation, and development of AI technological solutions in digital learning and enabling evidence-based research and studies.
