The National eLearning Center signed a memorandum of understanding with Fund of Martyr, Wounded, Pow & Missing in Action, to enhance the developmental and social role by providing benefits, initiatives, programs in different fields for the families of Martyr, Wounded, Pow & Missing in Action. The MoU was signed in the presence of the Center’s Director General Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammad Alwalidi and the Secretary General of the Fund Mr. Talal Al Muammar.
The MoU aimed at cooperation in building joint initiatives for human capability development for the Fund’s beneficiaries, connect beneficiaries with local and global content providers through the National eLearning Platform “FutureX”, enable beneficiaries to benefit from the platform, eLearning professional certificates and the National Open Educational Content Program. Also, the cooperation will enhance the technical integration with “Shahm” Platform for easy access.
The Center signed the MoU with the Fund to contribute to human capability development through initiatives supervised by the Fund in cooperation with the Center to qualify 1000 beneficiaries to obtain eLearning pathways offered by leading global institutions and universities.
This comes as part of the Center’s efforts promote cooperation with different institutions in the government, private and non-profit sectors in learning and training fields, promote studies, data and research, and provide consultations in eLearning and technical integration, thus contribute to achieving the intended goals.
