The National eLearning Center participated in the “Language Innovation Community” event organized by King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language KSGAAL. The event included an interactive session titled "Metaverse and AI in Language Learning." The session focused on the role of AI and the metaverse in enhancing the language learning experience and how to integrate advanced AI technologies and metaverse to create a more interactive and engaging learning environment.
The session, which received remarkable interaction from approximately 250 attendees, aimed to raise awareness about using AI and metaverse for language learning. The session explained how to integrate advanced AI technologies and metaverse to enhance the language learning experience. Additionally, it introduced language models and their applications in the digital learning sector, as well as mechanisms to enhance interaction, work, play, and communication among others in digital learning through virtual digital characters and places.
This collaboration between NeLC and KSGAAL is an important step towards promoting the use of modern and emerging technologies such as AI. The goal is to acquire skills that align with the fast-evolving needs and requirements of the labor market, providing new opportunities for learning and communication among students
