The National eLearning Center (NeLC) launched the Innovation Award in eLearning and Training. The award aims to enhance the quality of programs delivered in online mode, encourage innovation by recognizing excellence in creating the best solutions and practices within the sector, and honor the efforts made in activating eLearning and training and developing human capabilities.
The award is divided into 3 main tracks: Digital Solutions Track, Learning Experience Track, and Making Impact Track. Each track includes all government, private, and non-profit institutions. These tracks have been strategically identified due to their importance in fostering trust in eLearning, enabling equal opportunities for lifelong access, and promoting sustainable innovation, in accordance with the best global practices in the sector. The award strives to achieve fairness, empowerment, and development within the ecosystem. The award is an effective driver of excellence and innovation in human capability development by enhancing eLearning and training, supporting the Kingdom in leading innovation globally, and maximizing its role in research and development. It also aims to contribute to achieving a distinguished global position, supporting the achievements made in innovation through eLearning and training in accordance with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The award targets all institutions that meet the conditions and criteria of each track, including the government, private, and non-profit sectors. Applications are available from November 20, 2024, to February 20, 2025, via the award’s website: Award.nelc.gov.sa.
It is noteworthy that NeLC launched the first edition of Innovation Award in eLearning and Training in 2023. It witnessed over 1,300 nominated institutions and programs and awarded 40 winners in its three tracks from the public, private, and non-profit sectors.
