The National eLearning Center (NeLC) concluded its participation in the "Expenditure Efficiency" Forum, held on November 11 and 12, 2024. The forum was organized by the Government Expenditure & Projects Efficiency Authority (EXPRO) in its first edition in Riyadh, under the patronage of H.E. Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Authority’s Board, Mr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan. The event witnessed broad participation from national and international governmental and private institutions , as well as the presence of decision-makers, economists , and international academic specialists in the industry.
NeLC’s participation aimed to showcase the services and initiatives it provides to enhance and develop eLearning and training in the Kingdom, as well as to highlight its key efforts in regulating, governing, and empowering the sector for various institutions .
During the forum, Dr. Hajar bin Asfuor, Deputy Director General for Empowerment at NeLCt, participated in a panel discussion to discuss the role of FutureX, in achieving expenditure efficiency and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of government procurement processes. This is achieved by unifying efforts across all partner institutions on the platform, providing shared resources such as eLearning systems, developing digital content and facilitating access to local and international content.
