NeLC celebrated the Open Education Week (OE Week), organized by Open Education Global in the second week of March each year.
NeLC held a panel at its headquarters in Riyadh titled "Efforts of Institutions in Enriching Open Educational Resources," attended by representatives from more than 30 public, private, and non-profit institutions, as well as a group of experts. The meeting aimed to review the national efforts in the sector, encourage the enrichment of open educational content, and exchange experiences and knowledge with experts.
It is worth mentioning that open educational resources are educational materials published for the public or issued under intellectual property licenses that allow the use, modification, sharing, and free use of resources.
