Quality and Commitment Manual

The National Center for E-Learning aims to control the quality of e-learning and e-training practices in licensed educational and training entities. Based on this, a methodology was prepared to measure quality and commitment based on the best global leading practices in the field.

Relying on that, process of measuring and monitoring the quality and compliance of the entities and their licensed programs are subject to the e-education and e-training standards which are issued by the center according to the following roles:

First: National Center for e-Learning

The role of the National Center for e-Learning is as following:

  • Measuring quality and commitment by using direct and indirect tools and updating them according to the developments in the field.
  • Assigning an external party of experts specialized in the field; to measure quality and adherence to e-learning and training standards issued by the center.
  • Assigning an internal team to the center with competence in the field; to confirm the measurement results.
  • Providing licensed entities with feedback; for continuous improvement of e-learning, training practices and quality.
  • Assessing the level of quality and compliance of the licensed entities and their programs; to give a clear picture to these entities about the level and progress of their electronically submitted practices. In which, this would contribute to their support and for studying possible aspects of improvement and development.
  • Supervising the licensed entities in processing the observations issued by the center and taking the necessary measures; to ensure that these bodies comply with the standards.

Second: ِLicensed Entity

The role of the licensed entity is as follows:

Providing the center with all data and requirements related to measuring quality and commitment on time.

Addressing notes issued by the National Center for e-Learning.

Settling violations - if any - and what may result from that in accordance with what is stated in 8th Article of the executive rules of the licensing regulations for the provision of e-learning and training programs.

Notifying the center of any addition, update or modification to the requirements of the standards
