The National eLearning Center and the Red Sea Development Company have signed a memorandum of
understanding to shape a distinct eLearning strategy that both enhances professional development opportunities and improves high-quality outcomes to meet the needs of the labor market, to positively impact the national economy.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad AlWalidi, Director General of the National eLearning Center, and John Pagano, CEO of the Red Sea Development Company.
This partnership will provide training, qualification, studies, and consultations according to the expertise of the Center, in addition to its contribution to laying the foundations for innovation in eLearning through the National eLearning Platform "FutureX".
Moreover, the Center will work with the Red Sea Development Company to provide flexible, trusted, and high-quality eLearning and training content that is compatible with international best practices to increase the efficiency of the company’s human resources. Additionally, the Center will propose innovative technical solutions based on the international best practices in the field of eLearning, as well as support in providing cutting-edge technologies from leading national and international organizations in line with the specific needs of the company. The Center will also provide consultations by eLearning experts to keep pace with the latest developments in the sector. It will also help in establishing joint initiatives under the scope of social responsibility that will develop and advance the eLearning sector in the Kingdom.

The National eLearning Center has also signed three Memorandums of Understanding with: Ministry of Tourism, Saudi Electronic University and the National Institute for Professional and Educational Development to enhance cooperation and coordination through sharing the best practices to support eLearning and training sector.
The National eLearning Center aims to establish strategic partnerships to provide trusted and high-quality eLearning and contribute to building a globally competitive citizen with capabilities and skills related to the needs of the labor market.
