His Excellency the Minister of Education and the Chairman of the NeLC Board of Directors Dr. Hamad bin Mohammad Alsheikh extended his gratitude and appreciation tothe Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and theCrown Prince for their support of eLearning and empower NeLC to play its role in the governing and regulating eLearning in Saudi Arabia.
His Excellency stated that the Board approved building the National eLearning Platform , affirmed the importance of eLearning in human capability development, and the delivery of high-quality outcomes that meet the needs of the labour market, to reflect positively on the national economy.
Dr. Alsheikh stressed that this meeting is considered the first result of the real inauguration of the Center, expressing his hope that the Center will contribute to facilitating the service of our children who wish to enrol in eLearning and improve their knowledge and skills, so that they can be qualified for the evolving and changing labour market.
TheDirector General of NeLC Dr. Abdullah Alwalidi showcased the Center's future direction, represented in the governance of eLearning programs, integration in online platforms, and innovation in digital transformation in education.
