On Monday, May 8, 2023, the National eLearning Center announced the results of the first batch of applicants for the professional certificates advanced level. The exam was conducted in cooperation with the Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC) represented by the National Center for Measurement (Qiyas) and with the support of the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) for holders of certificates, which include:
The Professional Certificate in Online Teaching and Training (OTT)
The Professional Certificate in eLearning Experience Design (eLXD)
The Professional Certificate in eLearning Quality Assurance (eLQA)
More than 1,900 applicants, 52% of women and 48% of men, across the Kingdom have taken the central national exam. The exam was conducted in 31 headquarters in all regions and from various educational sectors, and attended by +1,100 applicants from K12, +600 from HE, and +250 from the training sector. The total number of those who passed the exam was 1428 (72% of the applicants). Applicants can view their results and obtain the electronic certificate on the NeLC’s professional certificates page.
The NeLC offers the certificates according to specific standards and regulations to qualify and enable their holders to practice the profession of online teaching and training efficiently and reliably, in accordance with the best and latest practices in the field. This contributes to enhancing their knowledge and developing their skills and abilities, achieving performance excellence, and raising education quality, to achieve the objectives of the human capability development program within the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
