The National eLearning Center (NeLC) called on reporting unlicensed eLearning (distance or blended) programs, to govern and ensure the quality of eLearning practices and achieve the interest of learners, to improve the learning and training sector in the Kingdom.
The NeLC stated that this step contributes to increase the efficiency of the eLearning sector, enhance trust in its programs and outcomes and enable the provision of eLearning programs that are aligned with the licensing standards and regulations.
The NeLC stressed on the importance of ensuring that the eLearning programs are licensed by the NeLC before enrolling, noting that more than 1,200 licensed institutions and programs are listed on the NeLC's website.
The National eLearning Center urged the eLearning programs providers to obtain the necessary licenses by the Center through the Licensing Platform.
