The National eLearning Center, represented by the National eLearning Platform (FutureX) participated in LEAP, the international tech conference, as one of the participating governmental platforms at the Digital Saudi booth of the Digital Government Authority. The conference was organized by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), the Saudi Federation for Cyber Security, Programming and Drones at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Convention Center from 6-9 February 2023. The conference aims to globally promote the Kingdom’s position considering its ambitious Vision 2030 and support the digital community.
The Center showcased its most prominent services offered through FutureX. It also highlighted its leading role in the eLearning ecosystem in the Kingdom. Furthermore, FutureX presented its global partnerships with edX, Coursera and FutueLearn. The platform provides services for the public, private and third-party sectors, in accordance with a governance principle aimed at achieving integration with all sectors to build a sustainable learning ecosystem that provides various future learning opportunities, allows access to courses/programs on local and global platforms, and contributes to the globalization of education.
The Center aims to enhance trust in online learning, facilitate equitable access to lifelong online learning, and lead sustainable innovation in education through online learning to achieve trusted online learning for all.
