National eLearning Center signed a memorandum of understanding with Al-Rajhi Education and Development Company to enhance the cooperation and maximize the impact of social responsibility in eLearning. The MoU was signed by the Director General of the Center, Dr. Abdullah Alwalidi, and the CEO of Sulaiman Al-Rajhi Education and Development Company Eng. Adel Alomair.
The MoU aims to enhance cooperation and work towards achieving the common interests of the two parties in learning, training and professional development areas trough utilizing the eLearning technology and building initiatives as a part of the social responsibility. Also, creating flexible learning pathways through FutureX in partnership with local and international institutions, qualifying institutions to obtain NeLC licenses, and enabling the company’s eLearning specialists through providing workshops about professional certificates and linking them with training providers, in addition to providing the NeLC with educational materials to enrich content in the National Open Educational Resources Program.
This MoU is a part of the Center’s efforts to enhance cooperation with relevant institutions in the eLearning ecosystem, support social responsibility in various initiatives of the two parties and discuss ways to benefit from them.
