The National eLearning Center announced that King Abdulaziz University, King Faisal University, Qassim University, and Princess Noura bint Abdulrahman University have been licensed to provide eLearning programs, according to the Centre’s regulations and standards that have been recently approved and implemented.
King Abdulaziz University obtained licenses for the diploma in professional sales, marketing, public administration, banking, and insurance, King Faisal University obtained licenses for diploma in marketing, sales, banking, insurance, and public administration, Qassim University obtained licenses for diploma in digital marketing, logistics and supply chain management, and accounting, and Princess Noura University obtained a license for the marketing diploma.
NeLC has announced the licensing service for eLearning institutions and programs, all public and private universities, and learning and training institutions in the Kingdom. The licensing procedures are currently underway.
NeLC had given the institutions providing eLearning a period of one year, four months of which have passed since the date of entry into force of the licensing regulations, to obtain the licenses to provide eLearning.
As per its mandate, NeLC provides licensing services and develops controls and standards for eLearning to ensure its quality in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Recently, NeLC is taking actions towards improving the quality of eLearning, especially with the accelerating global trends towards implementing it, which has become a necessity and a strategic choice for the future amid the pandemic.
