On the margins of the International Conference & Exhibition of Education ICEE 2022, The National eLearning Center signed 7 memorandums of understandings with: Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, University of Jeddah, King Khaled University, Qassim University, Jazan University and University of Bisha.
The MoUs aim to strengthen areas of cooperation in the professional certificates program through “Makken Initiative” to empower university students, who have enrolled to the eLearning programs that are aligned with the professional certificates provided by the Center to obtain the (Foundational level) certificate after completing their academic programs. The Center is aiming to optimize the graduates’ knowledge and skills to achieve performance excellence and enhance quality and trust in eLearning practices.
Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad AlWalidi, the Director General of the National eLearning Center said; “The professional certificates will equip university students with the skills that increase their competitiveness in the local & global labor market, as well as gaining the digital skills contributing to achieve the desired learning objectives. Also, Dr. AlWalidi stressed that these MoUs are part of the Center’s integral role to empower the students with the skills required for future.
The Professional Certificates Program is one of Center’s initiatives that aim to promote its role to empower eLearning sector in the Kingdom and to develop human capabilities in the rapidly changing labor market.
