The National eLearning Center Participates in the ICEE 2022

The National eLearning Center participates in the International Conference & Exhibition for Education (ICEE) organized by the Ministry of Education from 8 -11 May 2022. A total of 253 institutions, including 108 local institutions and 145 international ones, will participate in the conference, along with a number of local and international educational institutions and universities. Also, the conference brings together public and private universities’ presidents and their employees, education specialists from all over the world, and addition to those interested in education.

The Center’s participation aims to introduce its services and initiatives, and showcase the efforts made for eLearning development and quality assurance of its outcomes in the Kingdom, in addition to highlight its role in supervising several international studies that contribute to identifying challenges and improvement opportunities within the education ecosystem, especially in eLearning as a strategic choice in the future. In addition, the Center demonstrates its effective roles in human capability development through the National eLearning Platform ‘’FutureX’’ and the National Program for Open Educational Resources.

 

The ICEE is the foremost platform that brings together all those interested in education from all over the world to review education development opportunities and investment incentives in the Kingdom. The conference also addresses solutions to overcome crises and challenges that face education, promote the competency of its institutions and enhance the quality of the education outcomes according to international standards and indicators.

 

The conference includes many sessions and workshops, during which more than 130 papers will be presented. The main session will be attended by H.E the Minister of Education, Dr. Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Alsheikh, Minister of State for Education in the United Kingdom, Dr. Eng. Nazem Al-Zahawi, the Minister of Education and Technical Education in Egypt, Dr. Tarek Shawki, the Minister of Education in the United Arab Emirates, Eng. Hussein bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, and the Global Director of Education at the World Bank, Dr. Jaime Saavedra who will be discussing the aspects of education at all levels.
