The National eLearning Center (NeLC) received a delegation from the World Bank at its headquarters in Riyadh on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, led by the Senior Managing Director of the World Bank Group Mr. Axel van Trotsenburg,. The visit aimed to review the Kingdom’s pioneering experience in elearning and training, and to learn more about NeLC’s vital role in ensuring and enhancing the quality and reliability of elearning.
During the visit, NeLC showcased its strategy, key achievements, and future directions, along with recent developments in elearning and training, which has been witnessing rapid growth in the Kingdom. The discussions also highlighted NeLC’s leading programs and initiatives designed to enhance the quality of elearning, build greater trust in it, expand the opportunities it provides, and promote equitable access to lifelong learning.
