The National eLearning Center (NeLC) has organized the Digital Learning Forum 2025 at its headquarters in Riyadh, under the patronage of is Excellency the Minister of Education and Chairman of NeLC's Board of Directors, Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, and in the presence of several distinguished leaders from government institutions and Saudi universities.
The forum witnessed the launch of the Multiversityinitiative which aims to enhance collaboration between universities and the business sector in program development, joint teaching, and the sharing of digital resources. The initiative seeks to improve efficiency and effectiveness and expand access to high-quality higher education.
The forum recognized institutions that achieved distinguished results in the National Digital Learning Indicator for the 2024–2025 cycle, an initiative that assesses the development of digital learning and training at the national level. The event also honored the recipients of the second edition of the Innovation Award for eLearning and Training, which seeks to encourage innovative practices, enhance the quality of educational and training programs, and recognize national efforts in developing human capabilities and advancing eLearning and training.
At the conclusion of the forum, the Professional Certificate in AI Augmented Teaching (AAT) was launched in partnership with the National Institute for Educational Professional Development. The certificate aims to empower teachers and faculty members to responsibly and effectively utilize AI tools in educational practices and to enhance the quality of the learning experience in digital environments. The event also marked the launch of the “Numo” platform, affiliated with the National Institute for Educational Professional Development and developed in partnership with the Ministry of Education, with the goal of strengthening teachers’ professional development through integrated online training pathways and specialized programs tailored to each teacher.
The forum highlights NeLC's role in empowering the Kingdom’s eLearning and training ecosystem, as part of its ongoing efforts to support educational institutions, enhance integration, and improve the reliability and quality of eLearning, aligned with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
