NeLC and KSRNR Sign an MoU to Leverage Shared Resources through FutureX

The National eLearning Center (NeLC) and the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority (KSRNR) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enabling the Authority to leverage from shared digital learning resources via the national eLearning platform, FutureX.

Representing NeLC at the signing was the Director General, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Walidi, while the Authority was represented by its CEO, Mr. Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Amer.

The areas of collaboration include enabling the Authority to utilize the shared digital learning resources provided by NeLC through FutureX, in partnership with both local and global content providers. The MoU also includes leveraging NeLC’s services and initiatives such as facilitating eLearning licensing procedures by supporting the Authority in obtaining the required licenses in line with NeLC’s approved standards. Furthermore, it covers professional development by enabling the Authority’s eLearning and training practitioners to obtain professional certificates in eLearning and training through workshops and connections with accredited institutions.

It is worth noting that this MoU reflects NeLC’s commitment to building strategic partnerships with various sectors and national institutions, to accelerate digital transformation in learning and training, and to establish a flexible, collaborative ecosystem that is responsive to the evolving and fast-changing needs of the labor market locally and globally.
