The National eLearning Center (NeLC) and the Holy Makkah Municipality have signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance the Municipality’s access to the shared digital learning resources through FutureX platform. This partnership aims to support the Municipality in developing its workforce by providing a platform for delivering eLearning and training programs.
Dr. Hajar bin Asfour, Deputy Director General for Empowerment represented NeLC, while Mr. Mohammed bin Adel Bukhari, Deputy Mayor for Human Capital, represented the Holy Makkah Municipality.
The memorandum outlines several key areas of cooperation, including access to NeLC’s services and initiatives, facilitating eLearning licenses in line with NeLC’s standards, and opportunities for professional development. This includes enabling eLearning and training practitioners to earn professional certificates through workshops and connections with accredited institutions. The Municipality will also benefit from FutureX’s shared digital learning resources, developed in collaboration with both local and international content partners.
