Today, the National eLearning Center launched the second cycle of the National Digital Learning Indicator to measure and evaluate the state of digital learning for 2024. The indicator aims to monitor the progress of digital learning and training in the Kingdom, in an effort to ensure quality, enhance efficiency and increase the reliability of digital learning and training in the Kingdom.

The indicator, which is the first of its kind in the Kingdom, aims to measure and evaluate the state of digital learning in various sectors, support institutions that provide learning or training in achieving strategic directions, improve the quality of digital learning and training, support and enhance spending efficiency and resource management in the ecosystem, in addition to encouraging the adoption of innovative educational practices and solutions.

The National Digital Learning Indicator consists of three main dimensions: Trust, efficiency, and innovation, including a set of sub-dimensions that cover different aspects of digital learning, such as digital learning implementation, beneficiary satisfaction, spending efficiency, technical integration, content sharing, providing an innovative learning journey, achieving impact and competitiveness, employing artificial intelligence, governance and compliance.

This comes within NeLC efforts to enhance the quality of digital learning outputs in the government, private and non-profit sectors, support the process of enabling and accelerating digital transformation, and create innovative and sustainable solutions for a better future to achieve the goals of Vision 2030.

NeLC invites all institutions that provide learning or training in the Kingdom in the government, private and non-profit sectors to register in the indicator in its second cycle via the website (nelc.gov.sa).
