The National eLearning Center (NELC) has concluded its participation in the third edition of the Digital Government Forum, organized by the Digital Government Authority (DGA) alongside the United Nations' Internet Governance Forum (IGF) in Riyadh. The forum aimed to showcase Saudi Arabia’s pioneering experience in digital transformation.
The event brought together numerous government and private entities from both local and international levels, alongside officials and experts from around the world. Participants explored the digital government services roadmap, which is built on emerging technologies, and highlighted the latest innovations and modern technologies utilized by the participating entities. The forum also featured panel discussions with senior officials and international experts, focusing on transformative applications of digital innovations, opportunities for adopting digital technologies, enhancing accessibility, and governance.
The NELC’s participation aimed to showcase its services and initiatives that drive digital transformation and advance the education and training sector in Saudi Arabia. The center also highlighted its efforts in organizing, governing, and empowering the sector across various entities.
During the forum, Dr. Fahad Al-Anazi, Director of Knowledge Excellence at the NELC, presented the role of shared technical resources managed by the center, such as the national eLearning platform FutureX, the national open educational resources platform OERx, and other platforms. He highlighted their impact on enhancing spending efficiency, improving the effectiveness of digital education processes, and contributing to human capacity development across various entities.
