Signing An MoU with the National Events Center to Develop Human Capabilities in the Events Sector

The National eLearning Center (NeLC) and the National Events Center signed a joint memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in the educational and training field and develop human capabilities in the events sector by enabling the shift towards eLearning and training. 

The MoU included (6) areas of cooperation between the two sides which included the possibility of obtaining eLearning licenses in accordance with the standards of NeLC which enhances the quality of eLearning and training programs, and the efficiency of their outputs.

The agreement seeks to enable eLearning and training practitioners at the National Events Center to obtain professional certificates through introductory workshops, providing support in building training plans, and linking with accredited educational and training institutions.   

The MoU also included the possibility of linking FutureX to the eLearning platform of the National Events Center, with the aim of exchanging content and data, in addition to contributing to building flexible learning pathways that serve the needs of the events sector in partnership with local and international content providers.   

The MoU also included cooperation in the field of studies and research, and the National Digital Learning Indicator. Areas of cooperation between the two sides also extend to providing NeLC with open educational resources that can be shared to be added to the National Open Educational Content Program to enhance and enrich reliable educational content. In addition,  the MoU includes the possibility of participating in initiatives, awards, conferences and exhibitions that the two sides are working on, which contributes to maximizing the impact in eLearning and training.
