The Award is granted to learning and training institutions which rigorously apply the Criteria for Excellence in its licensed programs.
Objective:
Encourage licensed eLearning providers to enhance the quality of its programs and apply the Criteria for Excellence, in order to take the lead in eLearning practices.
The targeted group
The learning & training institutions licensed by NeLC.
Application requirements
The program shall be licensed by NeLC.
Evaluation criteria
Meet as many Criteria for Excellence In Online Learning.
About the Innovation Award:
The Award is granted to the institutions of innovative technologies and practices in eLearning.
Objective:
Support and encourage institutions and technology companies to innovate technologies and practices in eLearning and provide the best solutions to increase the efficiency and quality of eLearning in the Kingdom.
Targeted group
All institutions in government, private and non-profit sectors.
Application requirements
- The project or technology must have been used previously and proven to be effective.
- The technology or practice primarily serves the eLearning sector.
Evaluation criteria
- effectiveness of innovation in enhancing eLearning quality.
- Effectiveness of innovation in enhancing the efficiency of an organization (operating and expenses).
- The alignment of the results with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in human capability development (closing the skills gap, improving education indicators...etc.).
About the Impact Award:
The Award is granted to the most effective and efficient institutions in making an impact in human capability development and activating eLearning initiatives.
Objective:
To underscore the efforts of institutions in making an impact and contribute in human capability development on the national level and activate eLearning initiatives.
Targeted group
The impact track targets institutions activating eLearning.
Application requirements
The institution wishing to apply for the Impact Award must participate in OERx through the OERx or FutuerX.
Evaluation criteria
- Efficiency and effectiveness in making an impact through the institution's activity and activation of eLearning enablers
- Maximizing the use of educational resources to contribute to human capability development and providing lifelong learning opportunities
