The National eLearning Center announces the issuance of 81 licenses to practice eLearning during August 2022, for K12, HE, and training, and various institutions providing eLearning programs. The Center issued 12 licenses for institutions and 69 licenses for programs after meeting the Center’s requirements and standards, which brings the total number of institutions that were licensed to 296, while the total number of licensed programs amounted to 626 programs.
Through these licenses, the Center aims to govern and control the quality of eLearning practices, raise the efficiency and regulate the sector in the Kingdom, enhance trust in eLearning programs and outcomes, and enable the provision of sustainable eLearning programs and align their outcomes with the labor market needs, through the development of basic skills. future skills, and knowledge, as eLearning is one of the most important enablers for human capability development.
