NeLC and SDAIA Sign a Memorandum of Understanding for Human Capability Development in the Field of Data and Artificial Intelligence

On Tuesday, March 29, 2022, the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the National eLearning Center (NeLC). The memorandum was signed by the Director General of the Center Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammad Alwalidi and the CEO of SDAIA Academy, Eng. Saad bin Muhammad AlQarni.

This memorandum aims to develop a general framework for areas of cooperation between the two parties in many fields related to eLearning, data, and artificial intelligence. It also aims to enhance cooperation in building joint training programs and exchanging expertise and experiences to qualify and develop human capabilities, in addition to building capabilities and skills in the fields of data and artificial intelligence and their enabling technologies.

Through this memorandum, SDAIA seeks to strengthen partnerships with academic institutions and universities in the field of training, program development, and initiatives specialized in building, qualifying, and empowering national capabilities, and meeting skills needs in the targeted fields which will contribute to supporting the development journey and achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

This memorandum comes within the Center’s efforts to enhance cooperation with various institutions, activate cooperation in many national initiatives related to eLearning, and the fields of modern data and artificial intelligence, and find ways to leverage from these initiatives.
