The Board of Directors of the National eLearning Center approves the establishment of the National Platform for eLearning and Training.


The Minister of Education, chairman of the board of the national eLearning center Dr. Hamad Al-Alshaikh expressed his thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince for their support to the eLearning in Higher and public education, and enabling the center to govern, manage and organize elearning in the country.

The Minister said today after heading the meeting of the board of directors in Riyadh, that the council approved establishing the national platform for electronic learning and training ,indicating that elearning is one of the important models in developing human capabilities, and improving high-quality outputs that meet the needs of the labor market in a way that reflects positively on the national economy.

Dr. Al-Sheikh stressed that this meeting is a first step in the real launch of the center, expressing his hope that the center will contribute in facilitating the service for students who wish to join eLearning, and raise the level of their knowledge and skills, to be more qualified for a developing and changing labor market.

Dr. Abdullah Alwalidi, the General Director of National eLearning Center presented the center's strategic goals, which are governing the eLearning programs, enabling integration among elearning platforms and leading innovation in the digital transformation in education.
