Webinar Description:

This webinar will offer an Australian context around stackable microcredentials from Higher Education, Secondary High School and technology enablement perspectives. Our experts have had significant experience in setting micro credentialing strategy both across an institution and across educational sectors. Our panel has operational experience in the implementation of those micro credentialing strategies to optimise learner outcomes.
In Australia, micro credentialing efforts in formal education settings are underpinned and aligned to our National Micro Credentials and qualifications frameworks, in addition to other varied skills taxonomies and core skills frameworks. We also address the need to consider the unlying technology stack to ensure both human and machine visibility at scale.via open linked data standards.

Objectives:

  1. To help the audience understand the Australian context for stackable microcredentials in formal education - the regulatory parameters, the market forces and the innovative projects underway.
  2. To provide scaffolding for developing micro credentialing strategies within education institution across sectors
  3. To highlight the need for a twin strategy track of learning architecture and technology architecture to achieve scalable and equitable learning outcomes
